For over 60 years, FCA has worked to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Joining Team FCA offers an opportunity for a career of significance, challenge and personal fulfillment – one that integrates the passion for God and sports and offers the ability to live out God’s calling and make an eternal difference.

If you are passionate about ministering to coaches and the athletes whom they influence, by seeing them come to know Christ and to grow in their faith, then you may be called to ministry with FCA. This is the vision of our ministry and FCA’s ultimate goal.

FCA is a faith-financed ministry and depends on the generosity of donors to support the ministry. Each FCA field ministry role includes responsibility for developing and implementing a funding plan as part of the preparation and onboarding process prior to being hired. Funds raised cover salary, payroll taxes, benefit costs, program and operating costs. As field ministry staff trust God for their ministry, each is able to invite individuals, churches and other organizations to be active in FCA ministry through prayer, volunteering and financial commitments.

Who we are looking for:

  • A committed and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrating Christian character and integrity.
  • Passion for sports ministry and discipleship, with a heart for serving athletes and coaches.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in ministry, coaching, or working with student-athletes is preferred.
  • Ability to raise and maintain personal financial support in accordance with FCA’s funding model.
  • Able to engage, equip, and empower volunteers to be entrusted to lead the ministry
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area and work flexible hours, including occasional evening and weekend events.

Job Responsibilities:

Ministry Development & Engagement

  • Build relationships with coaches, athletes, and school administrators to facilitate FCA’s presence on campuses and in club sports.
  • Establish and support FCA huddles (small groups) in schools, athletic teams, and communities.
  • Organize and empower Bible studies, team devotionals, and leadership development programs for athletes and coaches.
  • Foster partnerships with local churches and community leaders to support FCA’s mission.

Fundraising & Donor Development

  • Cultivate relationships with donors, churches, and businesses to secure financial support for FCA programs.
  • Communicate FCA’s vision and impact through meetings, presentations, and written updates.
  • Maintain and grow a personal support-raising team in alignment with FCA’s fundraising model.

Administrative & Organizational Responsibilities

  • Ensure FCA ministry activities align with FCA’s policies, values, and strategic objectives.
  • Manage budgets, track ministry impact, and report activities to regional leadership.
  • Recruit and train volunteers, coaches, and student leaders to expand FCA’s influence.

Different ways you can join our team:

  • Local Field Representative
  • Area Director
  • University of Texas Representative
